What is Juvederm Vollure?
From the makers of Botox and Juvederm, Vollure is Allergan’s solution to wrinkled, sagging skin. Whether you are looking to reduce the look of moderate to deep wrinkles, or you are looking for a healthy, youthful appearance, Vollure can help your skin look radiant for up to 18 months at a time.
While other Juvederm products last up to a year, you’ll experience longer-lasting results when you follow the optimal treatment plan provided by the Vollure experts at Aesthetica Med Spa. Get in touch with our friendly team to get started on your journey to smooth, youthful skin.
How Vollure is Used to Smooth Wrinkles
Vollure is a non-surgical, long lasting solution to deeper wrinkles. Your Aesthetica Med Spa professional will use a series of deep injections that are placed throughout the treated areas of the face, such as the nose and eye areas, where deeper wrinkles tend to be found. Juvederm Vollure is gel based, making it safe for use on most of the face.
Because the Vollure line of products includes a pain-reducing medicine called lidocaine, additional injections to prepare the facial areas for treatment are not necessary. Our team utilizes a combination of treatments that can be administered quickly and efficiently. Patients do not feel any notable degree of discomfort, and the numbness generally subsides within hours of the treatment. If you are fearful of needles, you may want to inquire about numbing creams that can help to make your visit more comfortable.
Fast Wrinkle-Smoothing Results
The Vollure treatment system by Allergan is not a surgical procedure and can be administered in as little as 15 minutes, depending on the amount of work to be completed; this will be discussed between you and your Med Spa expert. Longer treatment sessions may last upwards of 60 minutes, and results are typically seen after one treatment. There is no need to return for follow up treatment until about 18 months later, when you’ll receive a facial analysis, and a new treatment strategy will be laid out.

How Much Does Vollure Cost?
When considering cosmetic treatment for your deeper lines and wrinkles on your face, you should consider that a great deal of training and knowledge goes into administering these treatments. When you discuss the treatment plan with your Med Spa expert, ask what is included in the treatment and consider the length of time that the treatment lasts. When you put it all in perspective, the cost is minimal for healthy-looking, smooth skin.
What Are Some Possible Side Effects of Vollure?
The use of Vollure is generally very safe for most patients. However, some patients have noted that they experience redness and swelling at the injection site — which is to be expected when working with treatments that involve needles. There have also been minimal reports of tenderness, discoloration, itching and bruising. Ask your Austin Vollure expert to help you decide if Aesthetica’s wrinkle-smoothing treatment is right for you.
Can I have Vollure Injected in Other Parts of My Body?
Some patients ask if cosmetic products can be used to “plump” up wrinkles in other parts of their body, but Vollure has been approved for the facial area only. Juvederm offers a number of products for various regions of the face and neck. Be sure to consult with your Med Spa expert in order to choose the one that is right for you.
